The basic die-struck pin gives a classic dimensional look without adding color. It is made from either brass or steel that is stamped with the pin design and cut out. The metal base is then plated with gold, silver, copper, or nickel. Sandblasting gives a sharp and elegant look. Mold charges are inexpensive. |  |
